Ayr United have ruled out midfielder Robbie Crawford for the next month after he picked up an Achilles injury.
The 19-year-old, who was on trial with Birmingham City last season, has amassed nearly 60 appearances for the Honest Men after coming through their youth system but now faces a spell on the sidelines.
Manager Mark Roberts said: “It is a blow for us and for the kid as he has had a few niggles this season. Hopefully, this month out will let Robbie get fully fit and see him play a major part in the run-in.”
