Ayr United are no further forward in diagnosing the root problem of the injury that has kept defender Bobby Donnelly sidelined since he joined the club from Airdrie United during the summer.
A scan on the former Airdrie United defender’s back has been returned as inconclusive to leave both the player and manager Brian Reid frustrated with Reid saying, “We had thought it was a back problem that was manifesting itself with pains in Bobby’s groin, however we have not been able to prove that. Hopefully we can get things sorted soon especially with Dean Keenan ruled out for the next wee while.”
