Ayr United have signed former Motherwell player Dale Shirkie for season 2014/15.
The 19-year-old can play in midfield or up front and could make his debut against Stirling Albion at Forthbank tomorrow.
Ayr boss Mark Roberts told the club website: "Dale has something to prove after leaving Motherwell and, as a local lad, knows what it means to play for a club like Ayr. Dale is something different to what we have - he's quick, big and athletic and can play up front or in an advanced midfield role.”
