Ayr United’s clash with Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Scottish Communities League Cup will go ahead at their own Somerset Park ground tomorrow night after floodlight work was completed on time.
The Honest Men had to shift their Ramsdens Cup tie against Raith Rovers a fortnight ago to Morton’s Cappielow as the lights were not ready to be switched on with a club spokesperson advising, “All four floodlights have now been installed and are ready for action and we are delighted that the tie against will be played at Somerset Park on Wednesday night.”
The game will kick off at 7.30pm and admission prices have been set at £15 for adults and £8 for concessions.
