Ayr United came from behind to beat Airdrieonians 2-1 at Somerset Park this evening and move to within a point of the promotion play-off places.
On-loan Hibs striker Josh O'Connor fired the Diamonds in front after 38 minutes but Scott Brown's men turned things round early in the second half.
Anton Dowds grabbed the equaliser and Ayr captain Sean McGinty headed home what proved to be the winning goal in the 50th minute.
