The 25-year-old full-back, who has also played for Dinamo Zagreb, has been capped three times for Croatia but narrowly missed out on a place in their World Cup squad.
Barisic told the Rangers website: “I think the most important thing is I give 100% in every game - I will give my heart at Ibrox and every other stadium for Rangers.”
