Rangers have signed central defender David Bates from Raith Rovers on a contract until the summer of 2018.
The 20-year-old had been on loan at Ibrox from Stark's Park in the first half of the season but has now agreed a permanent deal.
Rovers have signed midfielder Scott Roberts on a short-term deal following his departure from Rangers and midfielder Jordan Thompson will remain on loan with Gary Locke's side for the rest of the season.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Liam Kelly has also extended his loan deal with Livingston, having helped the West Lothian club to the top of the Ladbrokes League 1 table.
