Forfar have revealed the mystery behind the absence of defender Mark Baxter for the second half of Saturday's 3-1 win over Brechin.
The former St Johnstone full-back was replaced by James Dale - after rushing to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, where his partner had gone into labour.
A club spokesman said: "Thankfully Mark made it to the hospital in time to be present at the birth of their second child Harris and was delighted to also receive the news that the victory over our local rivals had been completed in his absence."
