Stranraer midfielder Steven Bell is expected to return to action before the end of September after missing pre-season with an ankle injury.
The 28-year-old former Dundee United, Queen of the South, Stirling Albion and Dunfermline player lost three years of his career to an Achilles problem but this issue is unrelated.
Manager Stephen Aitken said: “You are always nervous when a player who has missed a chunk of his career is injured but this is a separate problem. Steven should be back in about six weeks and we are all delighted by that.”
