Berwick Rangers have brought in former Dunfermline defender Kerr Young, who made his debut in Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at Annan.
The 21-year-old centre-back left the Pars last month after finding himself down the pecking order at East End Park despite making 26 appearances last season.
Shielfield boss Colin Cameron said: “I am pleased to get Kerr on board and he is the final piece in our jigsaw for this period of the season. His arrival means that we have players facing competition in every position and that should lead to better performances.
"No-one is guaranteed a starting place now as there is someone who can play in their place. Saturday was a disappointing afternoon for everyone but Kerr did OK.”
