Berwick Rangers went down 2-1 to Whitehill Welfare in the East of Scotland City Cup Final at Shielfield on Tuesday night.
Kenny O’Brien’s 25-yard drive gave the Borderers the lead on 14 minutes and Michael Dunlop came close to doubling their advantage with a header that struck the bar.
Whitehill equalised 17 minutes into the second half when Andrew Kidd evaded the offside trap to shoot home, with Wayne Sproule charging down the left wing before cracking the ball home for the winner 10 minutes later.
