Berwick praise for McLean

Defender earns high marks from Crease

Andy McLeanBerwick Rangers boss Jimmy Crease has praised defender Andy McLean for his stoic performances recently as the Wee Rangers have struggled to come back down to earth following their Scottish Cup meeting with Celtic at the start of the year.

Crease said, “Some of the performances recently have been below par but Andy has kept on delivering for his team-mates. He throws himself into everything and has been given his all for the cause.”

“He stands out with that big mop of blond hair and that can be a good and a bad thing for him but at the moment he has been excellent. He is a Borders boy and everyone there is hoping that he has a long career in the game ahead of him and he is going about it in the right way.”
