Berwick Rangers have signed four French youngsters and a Swiss teenager to play in their Development League squad.
Based in Edinburgh and being coached by Shielfield boss Colin Cameron, they are not eligible for the first team until the transfer window opens in January.
The players are Loick Mangala (17), Jonas Burkhard (18), Anthony Monin (18), Jak Khouiel (19) and Matthieu Judor (18).
The last Frenchman to play for Berwick was Franck Escalon, who later moved on to Ross County.
