It's matchday two in the Betfred Cup – there are 15 ties on Tuesday and one on Wednesday, with the third round of fixtures taking place this weekend.

Here are four matches to look out for this midweek, with a reminder that all drawn games go straight to a penalty shoot-out.

Dunfermline Athletic v Arbroath - Tuesday, 7.45pm
Dunfermline were the odd team out in Group C at the weekend and will be keen to get off to a flyer as they prepare for life in the Championship. Arbroath, who have brought in a raft of new players, held Dundee United at Gayfield on Friday before losing the shoot-out.

Rangers v Annan Athletic - Tuesday, 7.45pm
Annan won 2-1 on their last visit to Ibrox in March 2013 but Jim Chapman's men began Group F with a home defeat to Stranraer while Rangers saw off Motherwell 2-0 at Fir Park.

St Mirren v Ayr United - Tuesday, 7.45pm
The Championship rivals both made winning starts in Group G - St Mirren triumphed 3-2 away to Livingston and Ayr United defeated Hamilton Accies 2-1 at Somerset Park.

Edinburgh City v Livingston - Wednesday, 7.45pm
The SPFL newcomers begin their Betfred Cup Group G campaign against a Livingston team who played at City's home ground of Meadowbank Stadium before moving to West Lothian.
