The Betfred Cup continues this weekend, with 16 matchday three ties to be played across Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The action kicks off in Dingwall this evening as Ross County welcome Hibernian to the Global Energy Stadium, live on BT Sport at 7.45pm. Local rivals Arbroath and Montrose square up in the other Group D fixture at Gayfield on Saturday.

There's also live action at Firhill on Saturday, kick-off 3.00pm, for what's looking like a vital game between Partick Thistle and St Mirren in Group F. Livingston are bidding to continue their good start in that section at home to Airdrieonians.

Championship rivals Inverness Caley Thistle and Falkirk go head to head at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium and Hearts face East Fife at Tynecastle in Group B.

Dundee United are going for a third straight Group C win when they host Cowdenbeath at Tannadice on Sunday, with Dundee facing Buckie Thistle at Dens Park on Saturday.

Hamilton Accies and Queen of the South meet at the SuperSeal Stadium in Group G and Motherwell welcome Morton to Fir Park in Group F.

Only the eight group winners qualify automatically for the knock-out stage, along with the four best runners-up.
