Dundee United have parted company with striker Mario Bilate, who had been with the club since the summer of 2014.
The 24-year-old former Sparta Rotterdam frontman made a promising start to his Tannadice career but his appearances have since been limited due to injury.
He told the club website: "I wish I could have shown more to the supporters who have always been very supportive of me. I am sad to be leaving but I know at this stage it is the right thing to do for the club and myself and I will now look to progress my career elsewhere.”
A Dundee United spokesperson added: "We wish Mario all the best for the future. We know how disappointed he is not to have featured more regularly but this announcement allows him to look to the future.”
