Blue Brazil bring back seven and arrange Hearts game

Cameron begins to build squad at Central Park

Colin Cameron in action for CowdenbeathCowdenbeath’s recently appointed Manager Colin Cameron was quickly back to work after his summer holiday as he re-signed seven players and organised a Friendly against the club that he won a Scottish Cup winner’s medal with.

Marc McKenzie, Thomas O'Brien, Mark Ramsay, Jon Robertson and Craig Winter have all signed on again for the new season with Dean Brett and John Ferguson agreeing 6-month deals.

Cameron said, “I am delighted that they have agreed to re-sign and I have a verbal agreement with another 3 players that they will sign on as well. We have a solid base to push on next season as the players more than competed at a First Division level last year and came up just short.”

“If the budget allows I will be adding up to 4 new faces with a couple of goalkeepers the priority.”

The Blue Brazil boss has also secured a pre-season Friendly against his former side, Hearts, at Central Park on Tuesday, July 12.
