Second Division Champions Cowdenbeath have completed the signing of 27-year-old midfielder Jamie Stevenson from Airdrie United.
Stevenson was part of the Youth programme at Aberdeen, however he was released as a youngster where he joined Alloa before getting the chance of a lifetime when he was spotted by a Real Mallorca scout when he was playing beach football on the island.
After 18 months in Spain, Stevenson returned and re-joined Alloa and he also played for Morton and East Stirling before joining the Diamonds in September 2010.
Blue Brazil manager Colin Cameron said, “Jamie always impressed me in games against him last season and he has plenty of experience that we can call on as well.”
