Blue Toon eye Sharp boost

Peterhead boss Jim McInally is hoping full-back Graeme Sharp will shrug off the back injury he aggravated against Montrose at the weekend and join his league-leading squad at Clyde.

Peterhead boss Jim McInally is hoping full-back Graeme Sharp will shrug off the back injury he aggravated against Montrose at the weekend and join his league-leading squad at Clyde.

McInally said: “Graeme has been troubled with this back problem for a few weeks now and on Saturday he had to come off. Hopefully, with a full week’s rest and recovery, we will have him good to go in what is another huge game.

“A win would put the League 2 title within touching distance and I am sure ‘Sharpie’ will want to be part of that.”
