Celtic beat Hamilton Accies 3-0 at the Foys Stadium and Aberdeen hit back to beat St Johnstone 2-1 at Pittodrie. Livingston continued their great run with a 2-1 win away to Kilmarnock and St Mirren defeated nine-man Ross County 2-0 in Dingwall. Dundee United scored late on to earn a 1-1 draw with Motherwell at Tannadice.
Scottish Championship leaders Hearts saw off Ayr United 5-3 at Tynecastle and there were also goals galore at the Indodrill Stadium, where third-placed Raith Rovers overcame Alloa Athletic 5-2. Kevin O'Hara struck in stoppage time as second-placed Dunfermline Athletic beat Arbroath 1-0 at East End Park. Osman Sow grabbed a hat-trick as Dundee defeated bottom club Queen of the South 3-1 at Palmerston. Morton v Inverness CT was postponed.
Falkirk are four points clear in Scottish League 1 after a 0-0 draw with Partick Thistle at the Falkirk Stadium. Airdrieonians won 4-2 away to Clyde at Broadwood and Cove Rangers defeated bottom club Forfar Athletic 1-0 at Station Park. Dumbarton v East Fife was postponed.
