Liam Boyce grabbed all four goals in the Highland derby as Ross County beat bottom club Inverness CT 4-0 in Dingwall on Friday night.
The Northern Ireland internationalist pounced on an error by keeper Ryan Esson to open the scoring midway through the first half and found the net with a fine header to double the Staggies' lead before the break.
Boyce completed his treble with a penalty four minutes after the interval and converted another spot-kick on the hour mark following Liam Polworth’s red card.
It was the 26-year-old’s second derby hat-trick of the season and he is now joint top of the Ladbrokes Premiership scoring charts on 20 league goals, along with Celtic’s Scott Sinclair.
Jim McIntyre's men move up to seventh in the table while Richie Foran’s Caley Thistle remain five points adrift at the foot.
