Brechin City have suffered an injury blow, with midfielder Alan Trouten facing a spell on the sidelines after aggravating a groin problem in training.
The 28-year-old missed Saturday’s 0-0 draw with Dunfermline at East End Park and manager Ray McKinnon is concerned that Trouten could be out for at least month.
He said: “Alan has suffered this problem before and on Thursday night he was in pain with his groin. He was out for three months last season and we missed his goals from midfield. Hopefully it will not be as severe this time as we only have a small squad and need everyone fit.”
