Former Falkirk kid Steven Brisbane is interesting near neighbours East Stirling and has joined the Shire for pre-season training in a bid to secure a deal.
The 19-year-old, 6 foot 3 inch midfielder spent three years in the Falkirk youth programme and made two first-team substitute appearances before heading to gain more experience playing with Junior side Broxburn Athletic.
Brisbane was released by the Bairns earlier this year and is keen to step back up, with Shire boss Craig Tully saying: “We are keen to see what Steven can do and he is keen to show us what he can do. Hopefully we can do something after we see how pre-season goes.”
