Cameron named Airdrie No 2

Airdrieonians have announced the appointment of Colin Cameron as assistant manager following the recent departure of Marc Fitzpatrick.

The former Scotland midfielder was previously in charge of Cowdenbeath and Berwick Rangers, and was latterly a coach with Lowland League side Caledonian Braves.

Cameron, 46, will now work with Diamonds boss Ian Murray at the Ladbrokes League 1 club, who are currently fourth in the table.
