Elgin City have ruled out midfielder Brian Cameron for the rest of the season after they received an update on his foot injury.
The 23-year-old broke a metatarsal in the autumn but came back seven weeks later, only to suffer a recurrence in a 2-0 win over Berwick Rangers in December.
He was put straight back into plaster and manager Barry Wilson has now been advised that Cameron will not return before May.
Wilson said: “Brian is a player I was looking forward to working with but I won’t have the chance this term. Hopefully he can be good to go for next season.”
