Cameron bids to help Brydon

Berwick Rangers boss Colin Cameron has called on the help of the physio that has kept him playing into his forties in a bid to get defender Dougie Brydon available for the Borderers.

Berwick Rangers boss Colin Cameron has called on the help of the physio that has kept him playing into his forties in a bid to get defender Dougie Brydon available for the Borderers.

Cameron has asked Stuart Barton to help the 26-year-old, who has been absent for over six months after only playing in the Shielfield side’s opening league game of the season due to a pelvic problem.

Cameron, who turns 42 in October and has started all four of the Berwick games he has been in charge for, said: “Stuart has worked wonders with me over the years in terms of keeping me fit and overcoming injuries. Dougie has been working hard at things and has even tried acupuncture but has not been making much progress.

“I have asked Stuart to assess Dougie’s condition to see if there is anything he can do.”
