East Fife are hopeful that defender Stevie Campbell will return to fitness in time for Saturday’s trip to Glebe Park to face Brechin City.
The 27-year-old former Rangers, Partick Thistle and Airdrie stopper has been out of action since the 2-0 defeat from Rangers on January 11 with a foot injury.
Manager Gary Naysmith reckons he could be back this weekend as he explained: “Stevie was close to making it against Dunfermline however he was not 100 percent. He looks good for this weekend and we hope that is the case as he is a big player for East Fife.”
