Campbell keen on Travis

Forfar manager Dick Campbell will give former Livingston and Arbroath defender Michael Travis a third trial game to prove he is worth a deal when the January transfer window opens.

Forfar manager Dick Campbell will give former Livingston and Arbroath defender Michael Travis a third trial game to prove he is worth a deal when the January transfer window opens.

The 21-year-old had been with the Red Lichties since the summer of 2012 but left Gayfield last month and has featured in Forfar’s recent matches against Brechin City and Ayr United.

Campbell said: “I am keen to see Michael in action again as I have liked what I have seen so far. He is in pole position to win a contract come January so he will feature again for us in the league soon.”
