Morton kicked off the weekend with a victory as Cappie the Cat won the SPFL Mascot Race at Hamilton Racecourse on Friday evening.
There were some early fallers in the Ladbrokes-backed event but Cappie kept his focus and held off a challenge from Dougie the Doonhamer to claim first place.
