Celtic drew 1-1 with Leicester City in the International Champions Cup at Parkhead on Saturday before losing 6-5 on penalties.
Riyad Mahrez gave Claudio Ranieri's side the lead just after half-time but defender Eoghan O’Connell equalised in the 59th mintute.
All of the first 10 penalties in the shoot-out were scored but a miss from James Forrest allowed Daniel Amartey to convert the winning kick.
