There are three games in the Championship this weekend, with Falkirk and Hibernian on Scottish Cup semi-final duty.
Alloa Athletic v Queen of the South
Queen of the South will seal a play-off spot if they can continue their recent good run with a win at the Indodrill Stadium but ninth-placed Alloa are also desperate for the points. Danny Lennon's men beat Dumbarton 3-0 last weekend and are two points behind Cowdenbeath - who have played a game more - as they try to climb out of the relegation zone. It was 1-1 when the teams met at Alloa in December, with James Fowler's side winning 2-0 and 1-0 at Palmerston.
Dumbarton v Rangers
Rangers were held to a 1-1 draw by bottom club Livingston in midweek but the point was enough to take them above Hibernian, who travel to Livingston in midweek. Dumbarton are safe in seventh place in the table despite April defeats to Cowdenbeath, Hibs and Alloa. Rangers have won all four meetings between the teams this season, including a Scottish Cup tie, with the most recent encounter finishing 3-1 at Ibrox on January 3.
Hearts v Raith Rovers
Hearts suffered only their third defeat of the season when they were beaten 2-0 in the Edinburgh derby at Easter Road last weekend but they saw off Alloa 3-0 in their last home game. Rovers are safe in sixth place but lost 4-0 at Ibrox on Sunday. Hearts have won the three meetings against Grant Murray's men this season - 4-0 and 3-1 at Stark's Park and 1-0 at Tynecastle in November.
