Ryan Conroy's penalty proved decisive as Championship leaders Dundee beat Queen of the South 1-0 at Palmerston, with home keeper Jim Atkinson sent off for conceding the spot-kick.

Hamilton Accies are up to second place after a four-goal first-half blitz saw them defeat Raith Rovers 4-2 at Stark's Park. A double from Tony Andreu, a Louis Longridge effort and a James Keatings penalty had Alex Neil's team in command, although Joe Cardle and John Baird reduced the deficit late on.

Morton remain nine points adrift of Cowdenbeath at the bottom after the sides drew 1-1 at Cappielow. John Armstrong gave the Blue Brazil an early lead but Archie Campbell levelled late on.
