Falkirk moved to within three points of Championship leaders Dundee thanks to a 1-0 home win over Queen of the South.

Mark Millar converted a last-minute penalty for Gary Holt's side as the visitors slipped out of the top four.

Dundee went down 2-0 to Cowdenbeath at Central Park. Rory McKeown, on loan from Kilmarnock, opened the scoring and Greg Stewart sealed it late on for Jimmy Nicholl's team.

Alloa earned their first win under new boss Barry Smith - 1-0 away to Morton. Ryan McCord's first-half goal means the Greenock club, who had Dougie Imrie sent off, are now 12 points adrift at the bottom.

Dumbarton are into the top four after a 3-3 home draw with Raith Rovers. Colin Nish, Chris Kane and Scott Agnew netted for the Sons, with Gordon Smith (2) and John Baird on target for Rovers.
