Championship side Alloa have signed former Newcastle striker Michael Chopra on a short-term deal until the end of the season.
The 31-year-old, who has also played for the likes of Cardiff, Sunderland and Ipswich, was most recently with Kerala Blasters in India.
He made his Alloa debut as a late substitute at Ibrox on Tuesday night, as Paddy Connolly's side earned a 2-2 draw to move out of the relegation zone.
Chopra told the club website: "I had been looking to get back into football once the season finished in India - last week I had been training with Port Vale. I got a phone call on Monday night asking if I would like to come to Alloa Athletic and I jumped at the chance.
"I’ve not played in Scotland before and it will be a challenge in which I want to do my best to keep Alloa Athletic in the Championship - I will do my best to maintain their status and also try and help them win a trophy (Petrofac Training Cup).
