Christie lands Young Player award

Inverness Caley Thistle midfielder Ryan Christie has been voted Young Player of the Year by the Scottish Football Writers Association.

Inverness Caley Thistle midfielder Ryan Christie has been voted Young Player of the Year by the Scottish Football Writers Association.

The 20-year-old has been in outstanding form for John Hughes' side this season, helping them qualify for Europe and reach the Scottish Cup Final - both for the first time in their history.

Christie also made the shortlist for PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year, which was won by Celtic defender Jason Denayer.
