Following a draw to determine home advantage, Kilmarnock Reserves v Dunfermline Athletic Reserves will take place at The BBSP Stadium, Rugby Park, at 7.45pm on Tuesday May 2.
The details for the match were confirmed after Kilmarnock Reserves defeated Dundee United Reserves 4-1 in the tournament’s semi-final on Tuesday 14 March.
Dunfermline Athletic Reserves also won 3-0 against Queen of the South Reserves on that same date in their respective semi-final.
It will be the first cinch Reserve Cup Final to take place since season 18/19, when Heart of Midlothian Reserves defeated Motherwell Reserves 2-0 in the Final.
The trophy was shared in season 2019/20 by Celtic Reserves and Aberdeen Reserves after the Final had to be cancelled due to the Covid pandemic.
