Raith Rovers have brought striker Pat Clarke to the club for a third time after the 27-year-old agreed to convert his loan move from Dunfermline to a permanent switch following his release from East End Park.
Clarke began his career at the Pars in 2003 and had a loan spell at Starks Park in season 2005/06 before moving on to Cowdenbeath, Clyde and Dundee before re-joining Dunfermline two years ago.
After scoring 10 times in his first season when Dunfermline won the First Division Clarke rarely featured in the SPL and he was allowed to join Rovers on loan at the beginning of this year.
Stark’s Park boss John McGlynn said, “Pat did very well for us in our good run at the end of the season that saw us move up to seventh place. He is a good team member both on and off the park and a proven goalscorer. It would be great if he could start where he left off.”
Clarke added “I am delighted to sign for Raith Rovers and I cannot wait for next season to begin. It is going to be an exciting season.”
