Clyde have secured the services of winger Stuart McColm for the next 18 months after catering company, The Cook School Scotland stepped in to help fund his wages as part of the Bully Wee’s Player Investment Scheme.
The former Stranraer player had been attracting attention from a number of other clubs and had recently spent a week training with Dunfermline however Clyde move swiftly to keep hold of the 24-year-old who has scored 5 times this season.
Broadwood boss Jim Duffy said: “Stuart has been a big part of our good first half of the season. It is great that the club has made moves to offer him an 18 month contract which offers all parties stability for the future.”
