Clyde made two positive squad moves yesterday with former Motherwell, Alloa and Elgin City full-back Ross McKinnon joining until the summer and defender Brian McQueen extending his contract until May 2015.
Boss Jim Duffy said: “I wanted us to have more depth in the squad and that is where Ross comes in. Kieran MacDonald is the only left-back we had and one injury or suspension would mean shuffling a few players around. Bringing Ross in avoids that and also gives him a chance to show that he should be here for longer.”
McQueen, 23, is in his second spell at Broadwood after bouncing back from a serious knee injury and Duffy added: “We are delighted that Brian has agreed to extend his contract as he has been a consistent performer this season and is a valued member of the squad.
“His agreement to stay provides the club with further stability, as we already have a few players signed up for next term already."
