Clyde have been dealt a blow with the news that defender Iain Gray has been ruled out for several months.
The 23-year-old missed the end of last season after suffering a broken bone in his foot and has now been informed that he faces a longer spell on the sidelines.
Bully Wee boss Barry Ferguson said: “It is really disappointing news as Iain looks set to be out until Christmas. He needs surgery and we are looking to get as early as possible a date for that.
“I knew all about him as a player before I came here and wanted him to be part of things on the pitch. He will keep coming into training as I do not want him to feel left out of things."
