Former Scotland player Colin Cameron, who recently left his post as the player/manager at Championship side Cowdenbeath, is on the look-out for a club where he can resume his playing career.
The 41-year-old has now had his registration with the Blue Brazil cancelled and is free to sign for a new club as he looks to extend his playing days that began back at Raith Rovers in 1990.
Cameron went on to play for Hearts, Wolves, Millwall, Coventry City, MK Dons, Dundee and Arbroath before becoming Jimmy Nicholl’s playing/ assistant at Central Park in 2010.
When Nicholl moved to Kilmarnock the following year Cameron played and managed as the Fifers won the Second Division title and he was a regular last season as they secured their place in the First Division.
This season Cameron was a regular in Cowden’s reserve side as well as listing himself as a substitute for first-team games and the 28-times capped player said: “I am keen to get back playing again and would be happy to speak to any team."
