Airdrie boss Gary Bollan reckons that teenage striker Liam Coogans who joined Huddersfield Town last week will prove to be a goalscoring hit at The John Smith’s Stadium.
The 17 year old scored four times for the Diamonds during his short spell at the club and Bollan reckons that Coogans will start hitting the net regularly in Yorkshire as he has raw talent.
Bollan said: “Liam is a player that comes alive in the opposition penalty box. He will score goals down there I am sure of that. He is young and he still needs to be developed but the raw talent and his eye for goal is there.”
“I am disappointed that we could not see more of him at Airdrie but he leaves with our best wishes.”
