Airdrieonians forward Liam Coogans has completed his move to Huddersfield Town.
The 17-year-old, who made his debut for the Diamonds at the age of 16, will initially be involved with the U18 group at the English Championship club.
Airdrie manager Gary Bollan told the club website: "While we are sorry to lose Liam, when these chances come along you don't say no. As a young man, with the facilities and opportunities he will have down south, he will flourish."
Chairman Jim Ballantyne added: "Liam has worked hard - his debut was in a season that was very difficult for the club and he coped really well. He trained on a full-time basis within the Edusport Academy last year and that will help making the transition that bit easier."
