East Stirlingshire boss John Coughlin was a happy man after Jordan McKechnie’s last-gasp leveller earned them a 1-1 draw at Peterhead and kept them top of League 2.
Andy Rodgers gave the Blue Toon the lead with a spectacular overhead kick but McKechnie struck in the dying seconds.
Coughlin said: “It is a massive achievement to come here and get a point after going behind. In fact, it feels like a win. Anybody can beat anybody in this league and as long as we keep hanging in there I will be delighted.”
Peterhead manager Jim McInally said: “I am not sure where the four minutes of injury time came from so it is a sore one. We worked hard but and scored a great goal but we can play better.”
