Cove Rangers will be playing in the cinch Championship next season after sealing the cinch League 1 title with a 1-0 home win against Dumbarton.
Mitch Megginson got the only goal with 15 minutes left to put Paul Hartley's side out of reach of Airdrieonians, who thrashed Clyde 5-0 at Broadwood.
Neil Doncaster, SPFL chief executive, said: “We would all like to congratulate everyone at Cove Rangers after the club was confirmed as winners of cinch League 1.
“It is really impressive what the club have achieved since it was promoted to the SPFL structure just three seasons ago, winning two titles in the process. They are certainly worthy champions.
