The ‘other’ Craig Gordon has also secured a new club, with the former Queen’s Park and East Stirlingshire keeper being snapped up by Lowland League East Kilbride.
The 19-year-old product of the Hampden youth system played in six first-team games for Shire before being released in May and was quickly snapped up by East Kilbride’s new boss Billy Ogilvie, who used to coach with the Spiders.
Gordon said: “I am delighted to get a new club and one that plays at a very good level. East Stirling felt I needed to get experience and I will hopefully do that here.”
