League 2 leaders Arbroath have been dealt a blow with the news that goalkeeper David Crawford is out for the rest of the season.
The former Montrose No 1 joined the Red Lichties from Stirling Albion during the summer but suffered a knee injury in last week's Scottish Cup victory over Nairn County.
Gayfield boss Allan Moore will now look to the loan market to replace Crawford and provide competition for Scott Morrison.
