Hearts have named Stevie Crawford as assistant head coach to Robbie Neilson, who recently took over from Gary Locke.
The 40-year-old former Scotland striker, whose playing career included spells at Raith, Millwall, Dunfermline, Hibernian and Aberdeen, among others, has been No 2 at Falkirk since 2011.
Neilson told the Hearts website: "I'm delighted Stevie is going to come on board. I know him well as we've worked together at Falkirk, attended SFA coaching courses together, and, of course, played against each other.
"He will assist with developing the players and he's got a great track record of producing talented young players at Falkirk. He will be a big benefit to the club and has a wealth of knowledge."
