Aberdeen booked their place in Sunday's draw for the semi-finals of the William Hill Scottish Cup with a 1-0 win over Dumbarton at Pittodrie.
Adam Rooney headed the only goal from a Barry Robson corner in 53 minutes as Derek McInnes' men got the better of the Championship side.
In the day's other quarter-final, St Johnstone beat Raith Rovers 3-1 at Stark's Park. Gary McDonald scored early for Saints but Joe Cardle equalised with a stunning shot from distance. Second-half goals from Nigel Hasselbaink and Steven Anderson sent Saints into the last four.
