Roman Bednar
Joined Hearts from FBK Kaunas in 2005 and made his debut under George Burley. Helped the Tynecastle club to second place in the SPL and Scottish Cup glory. Now with Championship high-fliers West Brom and in the Czech Republic squad for Hampden this week.
Lubomir Blaha
Giant striker (pictured) who made two SPL starts for Aberdeen in 2004/05 after signing from Slovan Liberec. Subsequently had spells at a number of clubs including Zizkov and Sparta Prague.
Tomas Cerny
The Hamilton goalkeeper has been a big success in Scotland following his move from Sigma Olomouc in 2007. Initially brought in on loan, the 24-year-old has been capped at U21 level.
Jiri Jarosik
The former Celtic midfielder joined Real Zaragoza in Spain during the January transfer window. Now 32, he has also turned out for Chelsea, Birmingham and CSKA Moscow.
Michal Pospisil
Scored some important goals for Hearts following his move from Slovan Liberec in summer 2005 although injuries hampered his progressed. Now 30, he plays for Viktoria Zizkov in Prague following a spell with St Truiden in Belgium.
Libor Sionko
Midfielder who had a spell at Rangers under Paul Le Guen before moving on to FC Copenhagen. Now with Sparta Prague, his previous clubs include Austria Vienna and Banik Ostrava. Netted twice when the Czech Republic beat Scotland in a friendly two years ago.
Rudi Skacel
Now with Larissa in Greece, the attacking midfielder was a huge hit at Hearts in their successful 2005/06 season. Joined Southampton and later had stints at Hertha Berlin and Slavia Prague. In the Czech squad to face Scotland.
Ludek Straceny
Goalkeeper, now 32, who had a short spell with Hearts a few years ago before returning to the Czech Republic to join Viktoria Zizkov.
